Why is it that cars are the best way to get your toddler to sleep? This is Clinton in December 2002. He was so excited about going to Cape Town, but the 20 minute drive got very boring very quickly.
Andries and I decided to go on a camping trip in 96. When we planned the trip with our Ford Escord and a 2-man tent, we didn't know that I will be 1 month pregnant by this time, and feeling tired and nauseous all the time. I slept for most of the trip! After this Andries promised me that he will never again camp with me. Luckily that didn't last too long because we had a caravan for a while and now we have a 4x4 camping trailer.
